NP5K – Nordic Patrol 5-Kamp

Nordic Patrol 5-kamp (NP5K) is usually held in may each year, if there is a Nordtreff camp, the NPK5 will be held there.

Two patrols from each country can compete, unless the NP5K is at a Nordtreff camp – then there are no real limit in patrols that can compete, but only two patroles from each country can compete and win the backpack.

There are 5 disciplines at the 5-kamp

  • First aid
  • Orienteering
  • Fire
  • Pioneering
  • Secret (host country get to decide)

Rules for patroles

  • A patrol is at least 3 and at most 8 scouts
  • All members of the patrol must be between 10 and 16 years of age
  • The patrol must not be of new constitution. Only old existing patrols may participate. This means that two patrols cannot be mixed or joined

When you compete in NP5K you get a badge, you only get that once, even if you compete several years.
